Both Andrew and Martin are from rural backgrounds and have an understanding of the requirements for farms and lifestyle blocks. Andrew's experience working on orchards enables him to undertake orchardists requirements. Andrew manages the day to day running of the business.
We have been in the business for over 20 years. We service the wider Hastings rural areas. We have a 15 & 4 tonne excavator, tip truck and our own transport trailer. We also have an auger available.
What We Do
Our Services
Dam cleaning and building, track building and maintenance, installing culverts, water tabling, battering, track metaling and lime spreading, cattle yard cleaning, pulling out tree stumps, clearing gorse and blackberry, shelter belt removal.
Metal and lime delivery (and often supply), tree pulling, pushing up in burn piles and burning, trenching. Track and load out bay maintenance. Spreading.

In 2003 farmer Martin Jones and orchard maintenance engineer Andrew Ward identify a need for an excavating business catering to orchards, farms and lifestyle blocks. A 12 tonne excavator was purchased and soon after a transporter/tipper truck.
